Pooja Ratna Charitable Trust celebrated “Hariyali Mahotsav” by planting trees

Under the auspices of Pooja Ratna Charitable Trust, a tree plantation program was organized today in C and D Park, Maharana Pratap Park, Bhalswa Dairy and Mukundpur Delhi on the occasion of Hariyali Mahotsav, in which local corporator Gulab Singh Rathore and Delhi Police constable Dalveer Singh. ran away.

Inaugurating the program, Dr. Bipin Payal planted the first sapling and reminded that when he had come to settle in his new colony, there was not a single tree plant in his street, then before settling down, he along with the local people had planted saplings which Growing up today, along with giving oxygen and shade, they also give peace to the mind. While on one hand there are flood-like conditions in Delhi, on the other hand, for the increasing population responsible for these disasters, cutting of trees and planting new trees and not paying attention to their conservation, this kind of situation has arisen on the earth today. Let’s go!

A famous saying goes like this, “Imagine if trees gave WiFi signal, how many more trees we would plant, maybe we would save the planet. It is a pity that they only create oxygen”. How sad that we have become so used to technology that we ignore the harmful effects it has on our environment. Not only is the use of technology destroying nature, but it is also separating us from it. If we really want to survive and make a good living then more and more trees should be planted. Apart from giving oxygen and taking carbon dioxide, trees also absorb other harmful gases from the environment, which makes the air pure and fresh. The greener the trees, the more oxygen they produce and the more toxic gases they absorb. The level of pollution is increasing very much these days. The only way to fight this is to plant more and more trees. For example, areas surrounded by trees, villages and forests promote pure environment. This is because these are areas affected by less pollution. On the other hand, urban residential and industrial areas have poor air quality due to severe pollution and less number of trees.

The importance of tree plantation is so obvious yet there are only a handful of people who actually take a pledge to engage in this activity. The rest are so engrossed in their lives that they do not understand that without enough trees, we will not be able to survive for long. It is high time we should recognize the importance of tree plantation and do our bit towards it.

National General Secretary Dr. Seema Sharma, Dr. Poonam Sharma, Dr. TK Sinha, Sachin Jitendra Kumar, Constable Dalveer Singh, Savita and local residents participated in today’s program and appreciated the program.
